Prior to becoming a United States ArmySecond Lieutenant, Ryan Whitaker was an
enlisted soldier and attended Basic Training at
Fort Benning, Georgia and Advanced Individual Training
at Fort Bliss, Texas.
He received an educational
delay to attend law school and in 2008 graduated from Salmon P.
Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University.
He is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
While
Mr. Whitaker was in his second year of
law school he was accepted into the Judge Advocate
General Corps of the United States Army and for the next
four years will be on active duty assignment helping our great men and women of the Armed Forces
execute their missions successfully and safely.
During his three years
working at Whitaker and Shade as a law clerk and then as
a lawyer he was exposed to many different
areas of the law. He gained valuable experience
participating in trials and preparing complex legal
documents in different county courtrooms including Butler
County, Warren County and Hamilton County.
Mr.
Whitaker hopes to continue accelerating his
learning of general practice in the areas of estate planning,
family law, criminal law and personal injury as well as international law and the Uniform Code
of Military Justice during his tour of duty.
